Je recommande fortementThe food was very tasty! I ordered two dishes: 1.) Tfaya couscous Chicken - Onion - grape - Chick pea 2.) Chicken Pastilla with almonds (Chicken pie) Both tasted fantastic but sadly there is no card payment possible only cash.
We loved the tagines here! The staff is also so nice. We really recommend:)
Excellent couscous. Great dining experience in Casablanca! We really enjoyed the traditional food and ambience, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lamb tagine was so tender and flavorful! Everything was delicious. This was our favorite traditional restaurant in Casablanca.
Pour 2, cela reste raisonnable surtout que c'était bon 😜 Je recommandeBest tagine I had in my one week across Morocco! This version has some kind of citrus in it (seems like orange peel), giving it a refreshing tangy taste. [...] The chicken skewers were pretty good too. [...] It’s very easy to get to using Line 1 of the tram, as it’s right beside the Marche Centrale stop.
Je recommandeThis was our final meal in Morocco, and we had the BEST!! Although it was during Ramadan, this place was open from 7:00pm. We had fresh orange juice, harira soup, and one fish tajine with some bread. It wasn’t that expensive so please visit there!
Their Fish Tagine is really good. It’s well-seasoned and the fish tastes fresh. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also amazing. Definitely worth a visit.
Good to know
- Bring cash because the restaurant accepts neither credit cards nor electronic payments.
- Try the lamb tagine or the beef tagine rather than the fish tagine if you are looking for a more robust flavor.
- Order the mint tea, often described as delicious and noticeably less strong than elsewhere, to really taste the mint.
- Reserve a traditional low table if you enjoy the typical Moroccan experience, but prefer a normal table if you have back or mobility issues.
- Come during Ramadan from 7pm to enjoy the harira, fresh orange juice and fish tajine without the crowds.
- Take tram line 1 and get off at the Marche Centrale stop: the restaurant is right next door.
- Ask for the wifi if you need to work: the staff is understanding when the restaurant is not full.
